In reply to Tim S.. Yeah, garlic helps cuz bugs don't like the smell. But don't worry, you can just cook with it. No need to go biting into a raw clove unless you're into that.

hey Jonathan Holmes, just wanted to say this guide’s pretty solid. Used a couple of these tips last time I went out to the lake. Fish were biting, but the bugs weren’t, if you know what I mean. Couldn’t believe the difference a bit of planning makes. Still, got a few bites near the water, might double down on the sprays next time.
