To answer a few, most houseboat companies I’ve worked with have pretty clear pet policies. It’s not that rare to allow dogs, but there’s usually a deposit. Always check first!

I dont get why some houseboats are so strict. like, my dog has been on my boat more than any human and we never had issues. they should let dogs be everywhere

So, if I got it right, it really depends on the houseboat policy whether my fur baby can join or not? Does anyone know how often these policies are in favor of letting dogs on board? lol, it’d be a deal-breaker for me.
