Most rentals don’t match up to the real deal. Lake Tahoe is great, but finding a quality boat rental that doesn’t cut corners is rare. Disappointing most times.

I think you definitely need a boating license in Lake Tahoe, or at least that’s what I heard. Not sure why some say it’s not needed. Gotta stay safe and legal, folks.
