lake piru, huh? spent many days out there. water’s fine, but those currents can surprise ya if you’re not careful. always respect the water, thats what i say. -Ron

Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but has anyone actually verified the claims about Lake Piru’s water conditions? Last I checked, facts were a bit sketchy, and considering Jonathan Holmes’s overview, we should be asking for sources.

hey, i was thinkin bout takin my family to Lake Piru for a quick getaway. the article talks about safety and whatnot, but im still not sure if its good for young kids? anyone been there recently who can give me a heads up? Thanks in advance!
