I read somewhere that bass actually feed less during a full moon coz they feed at night then. Jonathan Holmes got any more info on this? Seems like it might change the game for night fishers.

Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy studies. Just had to learn the hard way what times the fish would bite. Moon phases, sunsets, didn’t matter much, just patience.

I’ve noticed a change in fish behavior during different moon phases myself. It’s nice to see an article by Jonathan Holmes validate my observations. Makes me feel like less of a crazy fish whisperer.

my uncle always said fish during a full moon, he swore by it. Never knew if it was just an old wives tale or not. Interesting read from Jonathan Holmes on this, makes me think twice.
