Seeing yet another glowing review of the ESEE 6P-B doesn’t surprise me, but I always wonder if reviewers are genuinely putting these knives through the paces or just parroting manufacturer specs. I’d like to see these knives tested beyond the usual ‘chop some wood and slice paper’ routine. Nice review. never really used a knife much outside of the kitchen though. might consider getting one of these for camping or something, sounds handy.

Regarding the part about the knife’s handle material, your article states it’s linen Micarta. It’s actually canvas Micarta, which offers a slightly different texture and grip. Important distinction for collectors.

everyone always talks about ESEE but there are other knives out there that are just as good if not better for half the price. sure they’re decent but not the end all be all of survival gear
