Very informative piece, Will Raynard. However, one point of contention: not all states require a windshield for a vehicle to be street legal. Some states allow eye protection instead. Might be worth noting for your readers.

FYI everyone, not all modifications mentioned might be enough. Some places want you to have emissions checks too. Check local laws!
