In reply to Trekky47. diesel might cost more upfront but they generally last longer and are more fuel efficient if you plan on doing a lot of miles. but they can be costlier to fix if something goes wrong. hope that helps!

thinks diesel is way better. they last longer, more mpg and just feels more powerful. gas engines are fine but diesel is where its at for serious RVing.

hey guys, was thinking bout the diesel vs gasoline rv part. which one really goes farther without causing a ton of maintenance? gas prices ain crazy high but wanna make sure i dont pick the one thats a pain to keep running. Jonathan Holmes, got any insight on this?
